  To get maximum benefits to learn and enhance your conceptual framework of project management principles we suggest you follow the steps outlined below:  
   
  (We are giving you an illustration of 2 certification schemes namely PMP® and IPMA Level D. Same will apply to all the certification schemes such as CIPM, IntroCIPM, IPMA Level C and Level B).
 
 
Step 1 ::
Start Up
  All persons visiting pmGURUonline.com may like to see where they currently stand in regard to their project management knowledge base. They can test this by taking our Free PMKQ™ (PM Knowledge Quotient) test which comprises of either 10 or 25 questions.
 
Step 2 ::
e-Learning
Section 2A - PMP Preparation (Module-P)
  Once you become a pmGURUonline.com subscriber, we suggest you begin the course by first going through the e-Learning section which contains different project management concepts. There are over 120 key concepts relating to all areas and processes of project management. After going through each concept, you can then test your understanding of the concept by appearing in a set of sample Q&A's given after each concept. You should be able to answer the questions correctly if you have grasped the concept properly. In case you are not happy with your answers, please do revisit the concept until you are satisfied with your progress.
   
e-Learning
Section 2B (Module-D)
   
  Once you become a pmGURUonline.com subscriber, we suggest you begin the course by first going through the e-Learning section which contains different project management concepts based on the IPMA Competency Baseline (ICB) and are the basic building blocks for the level D exam. At present, there are about 170 key concepts. After going through each concept, you can then test your understanding of each concept by appearing in the Q&A's given after every concept. You should be able to answer the questions correctly if you have grasped the concept well. In case, you are not happy with your answers please revisit the concept until you are satisfied with your progress.
 

Step 3 ::
Re Inforcement of knowledge through Discrete Learning (RIDL) (Flash Cards)
Section 3A - PMP Preparation (Module-P)

 
  This module contains over 1200 statements covering the 10 project management knowledge areas of Integration Management, Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Management, Communications Management, Risk Management, Procurement Management and Stakeholder Management based on the A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - Fifth Edition, Project Management Institute Inc., 2013. RIDL comprises of factual statements and queries along with the right answers and extensively covers all the 10 knowledge areas. This will help you to grasp the essence of PMBOK® and ensures that your understanding of all these 10 knowledge areas is very strong. After each Knowledge area there is a Q&A's session of 20 questions to verify your understanding. In case you are not satisfied with the results, you can revisit RIDL as many times as you wish to revise again.

Section 3B (Module-D)
   
  This section contains over 550 statements covering the 3 Competences Ranges - Technical Competences Range, Behavioural Competences Range, and Contextual Competences Range of the IPMA Competency Baseline. RIDL consists of factual statements and queries along with the right answers and extensively covers all the knowledge areas. This will help you to grasp the essence of IPMA Competency Baseline (ICB) Version3 and ensures that your understanding of it is very strong. After each Competences Range, there is a Q&A's session of 20 questions to verify your understanding. In case you are not satisfied with the results, you can revise RIDL as many times as you wish to.
 
Step 4 ::
QUestion & Answer with REasoning (QUARE)
Section 4A - PMP Preparation (Module-P)
   
  This contains a set of questions that test your understanding of the general project management concepts. The questions under QUARE are divided into 10 knowledge areas and 5 process groups covering initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control and closing and the additional area of Professional Responsibility.
If your answer is not right, pmGURUonline.com will fully describe the reasons why your answer is not right. This eliminates your need to refer to various reference books and papers. In case you gave the right answer, you can still check why the other options would have been wrong. This gives you a very good base to build up your foundation of PM concepts.
   
QUestion & Answer with REasoning (QUARE)
Section 4B (Module-D)
   
  QUARE contains a set of questions with detailed answers that test your understanding of the general project management concepts. If your answer is not right, pmGURUonline.com will fully describe the reasons why your answer is not right eliminating your need to refer to various reference books and papers. Even if you have selected the right answer, you can still check why the other options would have been wrong. This gives you an excellent base to build up your foundation of PM concepts.
 
Step 5 ::
Full Length Tests (FLT) 1 & (FLT) 2 for PMP® certification preparation & concept revision.
Section 5A - PMP Preparation (Module-P)
   
  FLT 1 & 2 are a set of two separate tests each containing 200 multiple choice objective questions based on the PMP® exam pattern. These two tests will ensure your complete mastery of project management concepts, and provide tremendous help in preparing for the PMP® examination. We recommend that you complete each test within 3 hours. Once you start a test you can break during the test as and when you want. Computer keeps track of the time you have spent in each test.
   
Full Length Tests (FLT) 1 & (FLT) 2 for IPMA Level-D certification preparation & concept revision.
Section 5B (Module-D)
   
  Paper 1 contains 140 questions where 1 option is selected from possible 4 options. There are 10 more questions in Paper 1 where on average 3 to 4 options can be selected as right answers from a total of 10 to 12 options.
Paper 2
contains 8 questions of numerical type. 5 questions are required to be answered. Paper 1 has a maximum marks 175 whereas Paper 2 has 125 maximum marks. A candidate is needed to get 60% marks on both the papers individually to pass Level D Certification.

FLT is a set of two separate tests containing 150 objective and 8 numerical type questions to help users ensure complete mastery of the required project management concepts needed to prepare for the Level D (QPMP) examination of IPMA, Switzerland based on the IPMA Competency Baseline (ICB) Version 3. This test has objective questions as well as essay type questions with many worked out answers to help you to extensively prepare for the exam. We recommend you complete each set within 3 hours. Once you start a test you can break during the test as and when you want. Computer keeps track of the time you have spent in each test.
   
Step 6 ::
Final Exam and Feedback Form.
Section 6A - PMP Preparation (Module-P)
  The last step is to appear in the pmGURUonline.com Final Exam which comprises of 30 objective questions covering the 10 knowledge areas, 5 process groups and Professional Responsibility. Pass mark is 67%. Passing this Final Exam and filling up the Feedback Form is necessary to receive a certificate of successful completion from the pmGURUonline.com e-Learning program.
  Feedback Form This button will appear once you complete the Final Exam. The feedback form must be correctly filled up by you. Your name and your time usage as given in the Feedback Form will be reflected in the certificate issued by pmGURUonline.com This pmGURUonline.com certificate will enable you to claim your Contact Hours towards PM education for appearing in the PMP® exam or PDUs for re-certification. It is mandatory to have 35 contact hours for appearing in the PMP® exam.
   
Final Exam and Feedback Form.
Section 6B (Module-D)
  The last step is to appear in the pmGURUonline.com SiteExam which comprises 30 objective questions and 2 numerical questions covering the 3 Competences Ranges. Pass mark is 60%. Passing this Final Exam and filling up the Feedback Form is necessary to receive a certificate of successful completion from the pmGURUonline.com e-Learning program.
  Feedback Form This button will appear once you complete the Final Exam. The feedback form must be correctly filled up by you. Your name and your time usage as given in the Feedback Form will be reflected in the certificate issued by pmGURUonline.com.
 
Note for module-P:
  In case you want to practice even more before appearing in the PMP® exam you can request for up to two additional Full-Length tests of 200 questions per test at an additional price.
